Hi everyone! I hope you've all been doing well, and are finding yourselves lucky this year. I know my year's been going okay so far. Anyway, the reason I'm updating with a journal is that I'm restarting two comics that I dropped. The Assassin and The Kid(ATK) and the comic following Vercheil from the moment she reached the surface until two years later([link]). The Vercheil comic was called Strange, Strange world...or New Begginings. o_o;; Not sure which, but anyway I'm renaming it to something more drow-like and prettyful: Dalhar d' sel menvissen. It means, "Child of new paths." X3

ATK will be updated on this account with a new page every weekend, 'cept the weekend of the 14th, and hopefully in color too!
For the beginning, both Ren(co-writer) and I lost it due to the rp being started on neopets(^_^;; ). So, Kimi wrote us up a new one a long time ago! =3 Much thanks to Kimi, we would never 'ave been able to write up one, let alone me writing it up by myself. XDD It would've been awful, and her begining is fantastic! So, really thanks so much for writing it up for me, Kimi!

In real life things're going well, rps I'm writing in are slow but so far haven't been so slow that there's only one post of each a month, Mom's still going on about divorce issues and typical gross things no child wants to hear about from their parents, and our puppy Pandora is close to six months old. She's twenty pounds of fluffy fur and giant bat ears. X3 I love having a dog.
Oh! My sister's gerbil, Cracker, though, he somehow hurt his leg. He doesn't really walk on it and only puts a little weight on it when he stands up, he mostly just keeps it tucked into his chubby belly. = '
Pictures from ATK in current time will be submitted here unless they give away too much, then they'll go up on my facebook. This account will also hold pictures that aren't of drow or of characters that don't have any major relationship with my drow. That's all I have to say, really. Not much going on with me at all. Since I last updated my journal, I guess you could say a lot has happened. To those of you who know what's happening, you've been listening to me over the phone, in person or over facebook or DA. Basically, nothing extremely bad has happened, a few good things here and there... The only thing I'll say is, I really wish I could change the locks on my home...

...I don't know what to say about this. It's just horrible. There's just so much wrong with the very idea of this bill. If it were a person, I'd lock it in an empty basement, strap it to a table, cut out it's tongue and torture it for as long as I could until it's spirit was broken and it died.
*coughs*
All I have to say is, pretty much all of my friend's are artists. Even if by some godly means I was okay with this bill (would never happen, I love freedom and freewill and ect.), there's no way I'd just sit down and take this quitely.
I'll be writing letters and joing any petitions or clubs against this inferior worm and I won't be giving up on crushing it with the awesomeness of angry artists!

In other news, to update on why underneath me DA namen it says 'making a present'. I'm making a present for a friend who's B-Day passed a bit ago. ^_^;; I'm low on materials but as soon as I get the gifts done, I'll get them sent to her!

Art wise, I've been in a bit of an art block--BUT-I have about a sketchbook and a half to upload here after I finish the presents. I have A LOT of practicing to get back to the way I dreww before. T_T My anatomy's horrible.

To update on my family situation...My Dad's beed moved out of the house for a month or so and my mother's health has improved quite a bit. She's probably going to get a gargantuin Siberian cat for her allergies and she's FINALLY hired the divorce lawyer. She's learned how to do bills on her own, how to take care of the house financially. So. Yay.
The guest room's free for a while, and soon the carpet will be shampooed again to get all the icky former-father+slutty-slutty-slut-whore skin cells out of the carpet.
Yay.

Yuppers, going away to visit my Grandfather. He's turning...either 70 or 80. ^_^;; Um...I have a terrible memory, but all that matters is that we're FINALLY going back upstate to spend some time with him and the rest of my Dad's family!
So, not that it'll really make any difference whatsoever! I'll be gone for a while. When I come back, I'll be working hard on fixing my mistakes and uploading more colored pictures!

Heh heh, hey again deviantart. After a loooong time of waiting for DA to reply to my two emails about my Darkmistress19 account being hacked and banned...I've decided to start anew.

It was about time for me to give up my old username of Darkmistress19 and before I'd know about what happened to my account I was thinking of deleting my old account and starting a new.

Fun fact: In the end I decided against it because, haha, I valued my old account and all it's history to much to just delete it and move on...
IRONY.

^_^ Enough of that, I look forward to the future. Everything happens for a reason and as far as I'm concerned it's time to stop moping around and waiting and all that other bull and start anew!
